Associate - Designer
David Daniels
David has a BA and MA (Hons) in graphic design.
After graduating David was a co-partner in an interior and graphic design studio in Paris. He then worked as a freelance designer in London during which time he worked on some notable set designs, including the Nelson Mandela Birthday concert, the Free Nelson Mandela concert, Roger Waters’ “The Wall” Berlin and design work for tours by Jean-Michel Jarre and the Rolling Stones. David also designed and directed various TV title sequences and idents for BBC, ITV, LWT, Channel4 and VH-1, as well as directing TV commercials for the Co-Op Bank, Toyota and Nike.
In 2000 David was creative director at Coast Productions, where he was the art director for Personal Journeys ( award winning short films for Johnnie Walker), while also creating campaigns for HSBC Bank, Airbus, Nokia, InterContinental Hotels and Canon.
In 2003 he became an animation director for Tandem Films where he directed award winning campaigns for Honda and worked on commercials for Rimmel, GNER, Philips, HSBC, BBC, Midland Bank and Visa. He also designed and produced animated projections for the Led Zeppelin reunion concert at the o2 in London and two world tours for Bryan Adams.
David is a part time lecturer at the London LCC, Norwich University of the Arts and external examiner at The Liverpool John Moores University.
Coracle has collaborated with David since 2006.
